I’ve loved stories as long as I can remember. Before I could even read, I memorized every word in my favorite book and recited it as my mom turned the pages. I would read books like crazy, consuming a stack from the library every week.
One of the most important days of my life happened sometime around third grade. I was laying on the carpet, propped up on my elbows, with a book before me, and I realized: I could do more than just consume books. I could add them to the world, too. I’ve been writing ever since.
At present, I have finished three fairy tale novellas, entitled The Weavers’ Blessing, The Kangraffs’ Curse, and Noemi’s Dragon. In addition to publishing a new blog post every Monday, I am seeking an agent for my novel, Child of the Kaites. Child of the Kaites is the first novel in my fantasy series, The Firstborn’s Legacy.
When I’m not writing, I teach, tutor, read, spend time with friends and family, and crochet. (Seriously, I crochet a lot.)
On this blog, I post my poems and/or stories every* Monday. If you like what you read, please subscribe via the button on the right 🙂
